Commissioner Cabrera Appointed U.S. Ambassador to Panama

It was recently announced that Commissioner Kevin Marino Cabrera has been officially confirmed as the United States Ambassador to the Republic of Panama. This new role marks a significant transition and a notable moment for our community.

We also acknowledge the departure of Manuel Orbis Jr., Chief of Staff, who is stepping away after more than 20 years of public service with Miami-Dade County.

Under their leadership, the District 6 office has worked to improve responsiveness, strengthen neighborhood relationships, and bring local government closer to the residents it serves.
